Ju-ri-ae Lee

  • Lee Ju-ri-ae is Assistant Professor of Korean-Japanese Interpretation at the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation and a conference interpreter. She received her M.A. in Japanese Language & Literature from Chung-Ang University. She earned her M.A. in Conference Interpretation and her Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Her doctoral dissertation is entitled “Modality in Japanese-Korean and Korean-Japanese Novel Translation: Focused on Epistemic and Deontic Modality”.
    Professor Lee conducts extensive research in interpretation and translation. She is also a member of the editorial board of Japanese Language & Culture Association of Korea.
